I'm thinking about trying this mic with my USBpre and an ibook running PT free for live stereo recording. I'd also like to check it out as an overhead in the studio.

Anyone here using this mic ? I'd appreciate any feedback.

My studio is finally in a position, with a small budget to start looking for a really nice (pres must be sweet!) 24 channel mixer, probably used.

The price range is 7-9,000.

I know there is E-bay, but some other references would be nice.

I don't know if this is the right forum to discuss this, but it has to do with studio design, and in particular, decorating!

Hi! I'm getting ready to send out my first project for mastering. The mastering guy wants my 24 bit file as AIFF and since I'm on a Mac and he's on PC he wants me to burn the CD in ISO 9660 format. Trouble is when I fire up TOAST (4.0.2 I think) and click on Format ISO 9660 is not listed as an option.

I wish Sonar had a way to delete plugins, put them into folders by category, etc. Is there something inherent in the nature of pluginsthat this cannot be done, or is it (potentially) done in the host organization? I note that the situation isn't any better in sound forge. Any insights?

The ad says it's hypercardiod. What do y'all think?

Used that catch title to get you in here. Here's the deal- Going with a P4 northwood deal (the Opus deal). Was thinking of using MAudio card- Audiophile, but want MORE INPUTS, so Delta44. But after reading in here more and more, I am undecided.
SO ANYONE, please answer 2 questions (I am a home studio user for...fun for now, but want to be on the radio! :D )
