Any feedback on the mastering done at this studio? I'm searching for a mastering house in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Vincent Burel wrote a simple proggie to test your PC capabilities in real audio processing situations. Test results look a bit abstract to me, but if we post them here we can compare how our DAWs score. I'm particularly interested in ANUS DAW scores (PIV 1.6 FSB versus o/c).

Does anybody have an AMEK 2000 series linear power supply they are trying to sell? Mine has gone goofy!

I just put my Anus2000 toghether. All I have in there now, is the AGP card, One Harddrive, and one CD rom drive. I di everything I thought I was supposed to, checked my jumpers, system settings yadda, yadda, yadda. When I turn it on,k I get the system ok beep, but then says NTLDR is missing and prompts me to restart, anyone know what NTLDR is, or might be?

A few hours ago my datadisk crasht :-(
Last backup was a month ago.
Earlier this day my wife said to me: hey, I realy like this new song.
Gone...like everything else...:-(
It's a hard lesson, but I will start, from now on, backing up like a madman.

I guess I need some beer before I can sleep...:-(

I'm moused out and need a control surface for PT. I do not want something as big as Control 24 or Pro Control and I'm planning to stay within the PT Mix domain for the foreseeable future.

Since we all seem to agree that newegg and mwave are the desireable places to buy computer parts online, what about places to buy audio and music gear online?

Any favorite places (musiciansfriend, sweetwater, samash, etc) that are as recommendable for buying music and studio hardware online as newegg and mwave are for buying computer hardware online?
