..don't we see more summing bus hardware? With all the people who bash PT's summing bus, I would figure more companies would have stepped up and made a simple 8/16/24 channel summing bus mixer. Nothing but pan, gain and a fader.

Now I just don't count the Manley mixer. Come on...too expensive for what it is. Notsure I want the "Manley sound" on everything either.

Im not a genious when it comes to coding, basic c and c++... but I am a full on linux nut...

I was just wondering if we could share blocks of code and such here... I mean... I can write calculators and stupid applications, but I dont know what A driver looks like...

Whoever was coding the audio drivers can you help me out here?

For those of you not familiar with fairlights, they kick ass, and walk all over Pro-Tools. Both in speed of use and Soundquality.

Not a Logic user, just curious, isn't it supposed to be able to use PT i/o and dsp? Anyone running TDM's in Logic? Anything you'd like to say about the experience? How do they work when used with native (or UA or TC card boosted) plugins?

How do you master a CD to take to the radio so it can be played.. How do keep the volume of a CD the same level as the rest of them.. I have been having this problem for quite some time...

I just hooked my brand new MU in today and I got a shocking suprize! I have it going direct in to the stereo incerts of a Mackie 32 channel mixer.

The cables are Monster 500 series XLR to ring tip sleeve and work fine for my Distressors.

I'm working in Pro Tools TDM, would like to invest in outboard compression for the mix bus. Or a plugin ? (prefer outboard that could be used for other things) Any suggestions appreciated. Craig

i'm having some trouble getting a good signal when recording with the 001 - are the mic preamps below par ? my problem seems to be that i really can't get a good enough signal without really jacking up the input gain which really increases the noise level.

I now offer all pieces individually to all.
