Hey everyone, i am new here so please pardon me if this isn't really the place for these questions but I'm desperately in need of help so any advice is greatly appreciated. I just finished writing and recording all the instrumental parts of a new electronica/indie song (think postal service or crystal castles if thats any help for reference).

I am reconfiguring an extremely modest studio (A DAW with Cubase LE4, respectable monitoring, a few mics, and a couple of rack units like compressor, preamps etc).

I understand that it is desirable to have everything powered from one outlet to avoid ground loops, but sometimes that is impractical.

Apply reverb to each individual track.

Apply reverb to the entire mix.

Apply reverb to each track through an input send to multiple reverb buses.

Apply reverb to each track through an input send to an individual reverb bus.

hello folks, what do you think of having, on this computer days, a mixing board on studio, i saw one yesterday on a pawnshop at Barcelona, Spain, it was a Yamaha MG102c at a very low price, i bought it cuz i'm planning to get serious about recording, so, in my opinion, every serious studio should have on mixing board just in case or for getting some live recording, even for the EQ and compresso

I have a $150 voucher for a UAD plug. I have a UAD card and currently own the Pultec, UAD Cambridge, 1176, LA-2A , Fairchild, Precision Limiter, Plate 140, Dreamverb and Realverb, and Precision EQ.

I'm looking into picking up 2 Digidesign 96i/o interfaces. Does anyone know if there is something else I need to run HD (some sort of card, etc)? Right now I'm only running LE.

I use Cubase LE and I was wondering if I can use just my regular computer keyboard as a MIDI channel 1 for VSTs. Especially in using Absynth 4. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
