To reverberate or not to reverberate

A question for those who record daily or semi daily. As part of my front end I want to place either an Eventide h3500 or Lexicon PCM80. I use a pair of Ward Beck m460's, an LA4 and want to spice up as I go in or rerecord through something to excite my material. Should I, should I use something else or ? I appreciate your help in this matter.

Effects while recording.

Hey

I've started building an home studio since 2 or 3 months now, but only to record vocals (for now).
Ive got myself packed up with a 'PRO' pre-amp (PRO Channel 1-Ch Tube MicAmp/Comp/EQ/2HE) and a Fame mic (Fame Vintage T47 tubemicrofone), using Reason and Cubase. but without a mixer, cuz it won't be any good unless i buy a really good one.

CAD E-350 vs Cad Trion 8000

Looking to upgrade my mic set.

The two mics that I've read decent reviews on are the CAD E-350 and CAD Trion 8000 both which I can aquire for $500. An awesome microphone within the 400-600 price range for Acoustic, Vocals, and Ambient Recordings is what I'm looking for. Any advice, experience with these products, or even other mics within that price range?

thanks guys!

CHOOSING A CHANNEL STRIP?

Hi all,

I'm looking to get a preamp, comp, eq strip. My goal is to warm/fatten up tracking and maybe do some basic mastering as well. I'd like it to have valves/tubes but it's not essential and I'd like the compressor to be strong as I'd like to experiment with harsh up front drum sounds.

I will be mainly recording vocals, acoustic guitar, elec guitar, drums etc.

Building a pro studio- Need a little bit of help...

I am building a new studio with some partners and they put me in charge of the DAW and overall recording set-up. I have decided that I want to run Cubase 4 (since I know it in and out) on a custom built PC. There are many more details, but I don't think I need to list out the whole thing for my question.
