Recording setup for Chamber Music
Forums
Currently I am in charge of recording a Chamber Music Concert and need to have a better quality audio setup. Currently I use a RODE NTG1 Shotgun Mic running into a Zoom H4N. I shoot from the back of the hall or the balcony. But have realised that the sound out of the Zoom H4n's mic sounds better than the NTG1 for that hall.

USB MIDI latency with comparable keyboard
Forums
After getting in touch with Yamaha chat support about my DGX-650 electric piano, which is USB-MIDI connection and unable to connect to an interface, they tell me my keyboard is made to be compatible to my MAC, so there is no driver downloadable for my specific model.

[SOLVED] No sound input being detected by Nuendo
Forums
Hello
I am having issues setting up my sound for my software, am a bit of a noob with this and am really confused why it won't work.
So my audio interface is a Fireface UFX. I have the microphone going to AN 3/4, and my main output is the default which is AN 1/2.
Web Licensing for open source broadcast project
Forums
Hey ladies and gents! I was going through the forum and trying to take in what I can, this will definitely be a good resource for me going forward. I'm in the beginning stages of my open source broadcasting project. To sum it up, I have always wanted to do radio, but was discouraged by the limited choices in stations when I grew up.

#10 AWG (2 conductor) vs. #12 AWG (4 conductor) Speaker Wire
Forums
Hey guys, I'm doing some wiring specs (exciting right ? Lol) and I'm completely unsure of what to go with.
It's speaker wire for a cinema setup. The surrounds, and the Screen Channel speakers accept up to 10awg wire with barrier strip screw terminals. The reference speakers and subs are on speakin NL-8 connectors which accept up to 12awg wire.
A studio I re-built and work at just had #3 hit!
Forums
I'm super excited. After 30 years Phil still has it! One of the studios I work at and rebuilt from the studs out just had a number 3 hit on the billboard hit singles. I didn't do any work on the song since I was busy with other gigs, but it's cool to be even remotely a part of it.
