Lauten Audio LA320 Tube Condenser
I've recently been hearing whispers of this in the wind from some fellow engineers - but no one I've talked with has actually had a chance to use it... has anyone here had a chance to use this mic?
Priced at $499 ( new), the LA320 is a cardioid tube condenser, featuring both HPF and LPF; it comes with an external power supply.
Thoughts?

T47 vs. SM81 vs. KSM44 vs. T12 vs. SM57 (Acoustic guitar)
Hi guys !
Many of you know I worked on a microphone-parts.com T47 kit.
I received and built a T12 as well. Here is a video showing it with other mics on a guitar
My T12 has a very pronounced proximity effect, but I think it's a nice addition to my collection.. Still trying it on different sources ;)
Tell me what you think..
Gig Nightmares
I'm not talking about actual gigs that go south of the suck line... I'm talking about bad dreams that are gig related...

I'm new to recording
What's up everyone. I'm new to the recording scene and I'm wanting to learn more about it. I'm currently using Behringer umc202HD interface on windows 10 and for now running a trail for Studio one 2 DAW. I'm basically wanting to learn more on how to record metal music is what I'm into. And I'm wanting to know what is a good daw for recording mixing and Mastering.

Pushing Air - Oh what a feeling!
Most of the recording I've done has been using amp modelers and cab simulators for my guitars (Guitar Rig Pro 5.0, Amplitube 4). Because of this I've been looking at both the Kemper Profiling Amp and the Line 6 Helix and thinking about the future.

Question About Using a Backing Track + a Click Live
Let me preface this by saying that I'm completely new to the world of using a backing track live so any info is appreciated. My band wants to start gigging and we want to use a backing track to carry some of the extra instruments and vocals we can't reproduce ourselves on stage.
Question about mixing boards
Hi there. I'm brand new to all of this, and I want to use a mixer for Streaming, but I have a few questions.
1. Can a mixer be programmed to just change volume levels? For example, if I left a music program playing in the background, could I program the mixer to be able to adjust the volume of the music playing on my PC for use with intermissions and such.

Best Latency for Pro-Gamers?
hi, does low-latency is useful for pro-gamers?
> = is lower latency then:
PCIe-DAC>PCI-DAC>Firewire-DAC>USB-DAC
But does a pro-gamer relly need a PCIe-DAC or does a Firewire-DAC ist good enough? I am not a pro-gamer, but i ask me the question. And i wan't to buy a good System for Gaming as well.
