ACOUSTIC HELP!

i have an acoustic electric guitar.. B-Band UST pickup (under the saddle). .and it goes thru an ibanez preamp to the jack of the guitar.
When i plug a cable into it.. the sound is very low. Even when volume is all the way up on the guitar, and on an amp. The noise gets real loud..but the sound of the guitar is very weak. Any suggestions?

Best acoustic mic for a Firebox

I have tried using a Shure SM57 with my Firebox but the results are not that good, in fact, I think I get more of the sound I want from my Radioshack mic. I'm using a nylon string guitar and I'm trying to get as much tone from it as possible. It is a very loud guitar to play and I'm trying to preserve that loudness for the track.

Any ideas are welcome, thank you

Choosing acoustic guitars for worship

So, I've been elected without any say to lead the music for a new Saturday night worship service at my local fellowship, and it looks like I'll at least be starting by myself, maybe with a singer or two if I'm fortunate. Which means... I'll need an acoustic guitar. :? So much for swearing I'd never buy an acoustic guitar when I was an angry teenager.

Acoustic Guitar Help

Ok,

Here is the link to the song,

The vocals in the beginning are only for reference.

I have gotten the lead and vocals sounding great (IMHO) but the rhythm guitar just isn't clear.

I want those clear treble highs. Is there anything I can do EQ wise to bring them out more?

Studio Projects C4 mic for acoustic guitar?

I record a lot of acoustic guitar in my home studio. I currently switch between an AT4040 and an SM57. The 57 sounds, well, like a 57 - a bit chunky for guitar. The AT4040 has a slight kick in the low mids that make my guitar and mandolin sound a bit boxy. I usually have to EQ it out. So, I'm looking for an additional mic for acoustic guitar/mandolin/fiddle micing.
