Two questions:
- Does it send signal thru SPDIF and ADAT at the same time?
- The BNC jack in the back is INPUT or OUTPUT?

I am currently using a MOTU 2408 MKII and am interested in upgrading the converters for at least two channels. I have spent a considerable amount of time getting the MOTU linked my PC running Cubase and my Yamaha O1v (ADAT Lightpipe), and I don't want to trash this set up. I am looking at the Lucid 2496 or the Apogee Rosetta.

Is this worth the $999 purchase guys. I'm no pro, but want to know if my signal chain would greatly improve or is the Roland's 24bit converter suffucient. U87,VS1880, Avalon 737 mic preamp?

Which clock source is more stable? Not worried about features, just a superior clock.
