I am looking to upgrade to an Avalon 737sp.
However I see it only has a mono out. And no SPDIF outs.
How will I get it to connect to my Harmonizer? The Harmonizer (Eventide) and the Lexicon FX units both need left and right inputs to have a incoming signal.

I like to by some preamp with comp for vocal and acoustic guitar mainly because I use Vst instruments and samples for rest of instruments,so I wonder is it better have Apogee mini me which is preamp/comp and a/d converter in one place or Avalon 737sp is better choice because is tube?
My setup is 3 pc with MOTU 828mkII,MOTU 2408mkII,m-audio 2496

We just recently got an Avalon 737sp for our studio to use with a Neumann TLM 103.
Previously, we just had the mic going straight into the Mbox, using its built in Focusrite Green mic preamp, and compressing with an RNC.

Hello, i have 3 pre.amps:

Avalon vt-737 sp ----> 1 output
TL Audio 50511 > 2 outputs
f. voice master pro -> 3 outputs

i work with Cubase sx 2, and i use a soundcraft for monotering, i hate software monotering...

i need 2 outputs, 1 for ad/da (rme) and other output to connect to the mixer for monotering, but the Avalon has pnly 1 output.

Whos the best, or who has the best pre.amp, the best compressor or the best EQ.

What mic preamp / comp is as good or better, IYO, than the Avalon 737. Try to stay around the same price or lower.
