Cakewalk Sonar Midi Problem
Forums
Hey
I've got a problem recording midi sequences in Cakewalk Sonar 7 Producer Edition. It seems like the software automatically quantizes the sequence after I record it. I am quite sure that it's not the problem of latency. If anyone knows how to switch this off - I'm glad for any advice! thx in advance!

Any good popular Cakewalk Sonar synthesizers plugins?
Forums
I just got Cakewalk Sonar 8 and I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for good synthesizers? I love automating synthesizers and making my guitars and bass sound crazy. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Steinberg Cubase 5 vs Cakewalk SONAR 8 Producer Edition
Forums
I'm looking to buy some recording software along with a computer interface. My comp is fast, no problems there. I'm thinking about a MOTU 2408 Core MkIII PCIe interface. That leaves me with about a $600 budget for the software. I'm thinking Cubase 5 or SONAR 8. I will mostly record band audio (drums, bass, guitar, vocs) but will also do my singers side project hip hop stuff.

Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 - playback pitch, tempo of guitar is distorted
Forums
Hello,
I am using cakewalk home studio 2002 to record my guitar through a microphone that is plugged directly into the sound card in back of my pc and there is some sort of problem because when I play the track back the pitch and tempo of the guitar is distorted. I recorded a short 50 second track and made it into an mp3 file so you can hear what I am talking about.
Simple issue with Cakewalk HS 2002 - please help
Forums
I am using Cakewalk Home Studio 2002 to record a simple drum beat and guitar demo. I created the drum beat using Fruity Loops Express, with a tempo of 140. I exported that to a wav file, then imported it into cakewalk after setting the tempo to 140. No problems up to this point.

You folks must have all been through this quandry, perhaps you can advise me?
I've got a few workstations running audio setup on a small scale. They're all running Cakewalk, with HDSP hardware. I'm on Sonar P3, maybe about time to upgrade to P6, unless...
