Hi, I was wondering how I would be ablet oconnect this mic to my computer to record.
Would I need to buy an adapter?

Hi all! I have a question about recording multiple tracks that I'm hoping somebody might be able to help me with - I am 99.9% new to home recording, so please bear with my n00bness. We (the band I'm in) would like to start recording music.

Well this is my first post so I will say hi to everyone out there!

I have a Gateway P7811 FX laptop and it refuses to let me record in peace! It has all the specs I need but there is something conflicting with the whole ideal of recording. So I have made up my mind that it is time for a different computer so I would like some opinions.

I have read a million forums regarding the best way to achieve high end quality recordings (to the point were its is doing my head in now!). I was going to go down the road of recording at 24bit/48khz Wav. I was hoping this would be suitable playback on a good audiophile home setup.

This is really really basic -- how do I record a video of me and include the audio? Do cams come with mics now-a-days so the music is synced with the video?

I've got an M-audio audiophile 2496 interface, and I was thinking about going with a Berhinger XENYX 1204, but am open to other options. Looking for affordable.

Just looking to do one track at a time recording, with probably a SM57>mixer>2496 interface>Reaper.

I'm in the process of putting together a new DAW and I'm looking for input components on your recent builds.

First of I will probably go with an ASUS motherboard, since they've been good before. Any recommendations on a specific board? Or which to avoid?
