This is really really basic -- how do I record a video of me and include the audio? Do cams come with mics now-a-days so the music is synced with the video?

If you're talking about webcams, the quality of video and audio is going to be rather poor.
Better solution is to get one of the newer $200 digital camcorders (Canon, Sony, JVC) that record directly to SecureDigitalCard and a video editing program (Sony Vegas Studio $50) for your computer.
You can also simultaneously record the audio on a higher-quality computer daw and replace the audio on the video just like the pros.

Yes, video cameras come with microphones built in. Many have auxiliary jacks as well for consumer type microphones. If you need professional type audio synced up then that is a different story but the consumer quality is much superior to ten years ago.
