Capturing Classical Solo Harp
I'm a student at my local college, pursuing an audio engineering degree, and I'm finally in my capstone course, and one of the requirements for our portfolio is capturing a solo instrument along the lines of our chosen specialties.
I'm specializing in classical music, and I'd like to record a solo harp, but I've never mic'd one up before. Here's what I have to work with:

Sister's Harp
Hey there,
my sister wants me to just put down a few tracks of her playing her harp tomorrow. Nothing really professional, just to have it done at the moment.
I've recorded her before in a live room using a number of mics and it came out pretty well.

Recording Classical Harp
Hello,
Tomorrow I'll be recording classical harp. I pretty much have any combo of mic and pre to choose from. I've been getting a few different recording techniques tips from friends.. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Recording a Harp - Concert and Folk harps
A friend of mine is an excellent harpist, and plays both full sized concert harps as well as smaller folk harps. She wants to get a small "studio set-up" to record some of her playing.

Recording Harps
I would like to do a recording of three harpists and would like to tap into all of the knowledge out there. I've mainly done sound reinforcement - not much studio work. What kind of mics should I be looking for? Has anyone out there every recorded three harpists? People have suggested the Neumann KM183 but they run around $800 each and that's a little steep for me.

Micing a Harp
I'm wondering what microphones and Micing technique would be best for a harp. If anyone has experience in harp recordings I'd like to know how they did it.
Also Micing a harp for live sound.
