I'm recording a Baroque chamber orchestra and a 16 person semi pro chorus (they all work in music, this group is not their work) at my church this Sunday. I recorded their dress rehearsal yesterday, and have some clips:

Hi everyone, this is my first post. I tried to start recording maybe a year ago then got real busy with school and put it aside. With summer coming I'm trying to get back into it. I bought some gear on a whim last year after some quick research and now that I'm coming back to it I thought it would be good to ask you guys to review my gear.

Until last night I had not even installed the Melodyne Essentials RTAS that came bundled with PT Le. But my daughter had to use it at her internship and she commented that it might be useful on a couple of tweaks on a CD she is going to help me mix.

Hello. I recently recorded a live string quartet, the recording was done in a fairly large church. I place the two matched pair Samson c02 mics in the 110 degree angle, 17 cm apart about five feet from the quartet, at about standing height (just above their head level).

I am getting ready to record my bands second album. I have been experimenting with some guitar sounds before we hit the studio. I want to get some opinions on what I have been playing with.

I'm looking for two main guitar sounds, one really heavy hard rock sound like breaking benjamin or disturbed, and another lighter more modern rock sound.

Hello here I recorded some small brush work on my drummer's snare. It's just signal without any effects or EQ. This room is quiet ''sterile'' so there shouldn't be big need for acoustic treatment

Hi. Thanks for taking time to read this. I am bringing up my studio from almost pure midi tracking to having 3 recording booths and two small rooms for recording things like acoustic guitars and other acoustic instruments. So, I decided to but the Tascam DM-4800. It is what I want and need to get plenty of synth channels and other recording channels into my DAW at once.
