Ok, So i'm helping a friend mix an album iside the box( nuendo) and we really love using a lot of plugins and fx sends. The problem is, as is always, that some mixes require a lot more processing due mostly to how creative we like to get with mixes. Now, we have been looking for a way to "share the load" per say and ran into fx teleport.

Are there any DSP cards out there that run under Pro Tools on a Windows XP Pro Platform?

I was just wondering if there was any hardware out in DSP form that can take the load out of your system. I went to the Wavespage and seen a apa or something that processes your plugins but it was like $1600. is there anything out cheaper for (WAVES) that can process your plugins.?

I just upgraded my computer to run PT7 and my new McDsp project pack which I got at guitar center for 400 dollars. I heard good things about them so i figured i would check them out. First off my system is a G4 powerbook with Mbox 1 gig ram 1.5 Ghz processor.

Hi, beside the preamp presence on the Fireface, talking just about conversion and general use, what would you suggest between these two combinations ( on a pc) ?

1)Hdsp 9652 + Adi 8 ds
or
2)Fireface 800

I have both the 1820m and the 0404 digital audio cards, running Cubase SX2.x. Is it possible to use the PatchMix app on both cards, installed on the same system. Or do I have to except the fact that the 0404 cards needs to be decommissioned.
