First i'd like to say sorry for asking such stupid ameture questions. I always check the forums and other sources before bothering anyone, but i just cant afford to take any risks.

Has anyone used the m-a delta 66 soundcard on a PC? I am about to buy one, but I couldn't find any serious review. My main concern is latency and clicks and crackles on the system. I need to be able to run at less than 10ms of latency

i have recently decided to move into pc-based music. i have an xp pro 1.8, 2 large disks, Cubase sx3, an m-delta 2694 pci card, Korg trinity drs workstation, a Korg d12 hdd recorder, mic and speakers.

i intend to use this setup for recording and mastering.

please could someone advise me on how to connect everything - i have tried but cannot:

I'm getting a Delta 1010 audio card...As some of you know it has 8 inputs/outputs, 1 midi in/out, 1 digital in/out.

I have 5 hardware modules:
Roland M-VS1
Korg NS5R
EMU Proteus
Ensoniq ASR-X
Roland V-drums
I guess I'd have to connect these mono since I don't want to waste inputs.

I ordered the mentioned sound card recently (due to come in any day now!) and have been reading the manual to keep me busy until it comes. I purchased the sound card to receive my condensers (MXL 990/991 Set) and serve as an A/D device. The condensers require phantom power (obviously!), so I purchased a phantom power device (ARTcessories Phantom II) to power the mics.

According to the PDF from Mackie Im supposed to use the Channel inserts( 1 click ) to send to my recording device, in my case my delta-44 - 4 ins. That Part works Great. I have my AUX send outs going to my MPX 110 then back to the AUX Returns. However it dosen't record it. I can hear the effects in the master out.

Which one do you think is the best option, quality wise. (Features is not what I am really looking for).

I own an apple g5 single 1.8. I wanted to know which will have the highest transfer rate. Which one will work better for me? I would like having both :P but I need to choose :( Pros/cons?
