I just got this today, and i tried recording my guitar amp with a SM-57 and the sound was way overloaded. So i turned down the mic signal with the card's built in digital mixer. well, it was still overloaded and clipping, so i figured some of the clipping was from the mixer's volume thing being turned up all the way. But the preamp is still clipping when i mic even just yell into it.

Long story short,
I have a Delta 66 PCI card w/OmniStudio IO box.
I used to run this on a Win98 machine with Sonar 2.0.

The hardware is now on a newer desktop with WinXP.
And so I'm thinking of upgrading the multitracking software.
Any recommendations?

I need to record 14 channels, on location. I've got a shuttle XPC with a M-Audio Delta 10/10lt and my friend can lend me his M-Audio FireWire1814.

Need some help.
My Balanced output on the GT Brick to my Delta Omni balanced line input isn't working properly. Sound volume is very, very low and crackly. With a TS line it works fine however. Problem is only with a TRS line. I've checked the T=+, R=-, and Sleeve=Grnd connections everything is fine...Am I missing something? Or is something wrong with my Omni?

I currently have a 32 channel AMEK tac scorpion / (3) Delta 1010lt / Steinberg Houston / Nuendo 2.0.

My Delta 44 is crackling and popping pretty bad and i cant seem to fix it, ive adjusted the latency and the sample rate but nothing seems to help.

and I'm looking to add a pair of Delta 44's... I'm pretty sure the pair of 44's work together but would they work with the 1010LT as well?

hiya. i've got Cubase sx 3 with a delta 1010. i've just got a Behringer ada8000 and have connected to the soundcard, and although the signal is going into the preamp, nothing is now reaching the soundcard. is there something i'm supposed to do?

I am new to Digital Recording, so hopefully I am experiencing a novice issue that is easily solved:

I am trying to record with a sm57 straight into the first XLR channel, but am getting really high levels coming out and can't figure out how to lower the input gain. Am I missing something in the control panel? The jumpers are set to the default mic line setting, as per the instruction manual. Should I just change them to line level and use my mixers pre's?
