i saw this a few minutes ago and watched it straight through. Just really transparent and an amazing glimpse into the reality of these songs. These men are certainly a piece of music history.

Hello, folks. I am mixing, effecting, equing, mastering, etc, etc a documentary feature that someone I know asked me to work on. Although I have mixed and mastered many projects before - songs, short and feature films, etc - this is actually one of the first times someone's actually offered to PAY me for it. They don't know what to pay me, and I don't know what to charge them.

And I need advice on how to recording audio for this project...
So far I've had advice to buy either AKG 414 or Sennheiser 416...
The budget has around 2000$ for audio hardware, so let me know what you think the setup should be.
