Description
DPA Microphones draws on more than six decades of world-class microphone design experience. This history starts back in the 1950s, when our predecessor, Brüel & Kjær, developed the first, precisely accurate measurement microphones. Today, sound superiority and technical innovation is still at the heart of everything we do. In 1992, two entrepreneurial spirits, Ole Brøsted Sørensen & Morten Støve, left Brüel & Kjær and started a transformation that affects the audio industry to this day. They turned the most well-known and accurate measurement microphones in the world into the clearest, truest pro-audio microphones you can purchase today. The 4006 Omnidirectional Microphone was one of the first recording mics DPA developed and is still one of the best-loved recording mics in the world.

Bandpass Filter

An electronic device or circuit that allows signals between two specific frequencies to pass, but that attenuates signals at other frequencies. Bandpass filters that have amplifiers for boosting the levels of signals in the accepted frequency range are known as active filters. Devices that do not amplify and consume no power in doing their task are referred to as passive filters.

DPA 4003 vs. (DPA 4006TL New files) on pipeorgan.

Hi!

I have tried sennheisers new mic MKH 8020 now in afternoon, and this is what we recorded.
Next week I shall try DPA:s 4003 and 4006TL side by side on my tripodstand and make a interesting A-B test.

Something about the Sennheiser mic, i think its a weery good mic :)

It will become interesting to compare Sennheiser MKH 8020 against DAP:s 4003 and 4006TL

Mic clip to fit DPA stereo boom and CMC5

Forums

I've just purchased a DPA UA0837 stereo boom - the one without the mic clips. Now, I didn't know this beforehand, but the sliders on the boom are designed to hold mic clips with a narrow thread (a la the DPA clips)... . The problem is that the sliders have a kind of groove that ensures that only clips with a very narrow base will fit there.
