I'm a professional https://sikksounds… drum beat maker and I use Audacity to record my guitar compositions. I'd like to add drums to the mix for some very simple demos. I'm not sure how I'd go about doing this.

Hey Guys, I've always had cocky shoulder when it came to using other peoples drum beats and said to myself if Im going to make a song I will use my own drum beat. But just recently I tired using a pre-made drum beat in ToonTrack for a starting block for my piece and it sounds so much better than anything I could come up with. I feel like it's cheap and it's not fair. But music is music right?

There was an absolutely -fantastic- post here a while back that I cannot now find. It was an attempt to analyze the MIDI timing of various styles of drum grooves. It showed specific examples of where one ought to place kick/snare/hat ahead or behind beat to create many popular feels.

Can someone give me a link to this?

Hey! My name's Sam. Me and my dad both play guitar and he is playing in a band, and unfortunatly dont know how to explain drum beats.
My dad wants to play Lynard skynard's "call me the breeze" (which seems to be outstanding drumming to me) and "down on the corner" by creedence clearwater, but can't describe the beat he likes.
