hello, my name is Ben Christy and I am 16. I am currently very interested in attending a school with a very successful audio engineering program. I'm sure this topic could be controvercial, but I was just wondering what schools are the top for audio engineering. For example like the "Harvard" of audio engineering?

i was really looking into Full Sail, but i keep hearing bad reveiws about it. My dad really wants me to go to MTSU because they supposably have an amazing audio production 4 year program deal.

What do yall think?

Based on a simple internet search and what I know of the industry, it has come as no surprise that there are very few mastering houses that are dedicated to, or extremely knowledgeable of classical type music. (When I use the term classical, I am referring of course to all music orchestral and chamber) There are very few who I personally would trust my higher end mixes with.

Can anyone recommend a good source for electrical engineering in the audio field for someone whose entire knowledge boils down to knowing how to change a tube and how to plug stuff in?

Hello all, first time poster here. I am getting ready to transfer to a college, where I can get a graduates degree in Audio Engineering. I am interested in possibly working in both the music and film industry if its possible (doing audio in both I mean), as I am not sure which I would rather work in if I had to choose.
