Can a USB Audio interface like the Behringer's BCA2000 ( http://www.Behringer.com/BCA2000/index.cfm?lang=ENG )substitute my PC Soundcard ? USB Audio Interfaces do the same and don't depend on Soundcards ?

I have very recently bought a Lynx Lynxone soundcard, I got a good price on it which was too good to pass up. However my scant knowledge of the DAW means that now I'm without a breakout box I'm unsure as to the best means of inputting audio and midi to the card. Im looking into getting a I/O Interface for my PC (hopefully a notebook down the track) and have been told the MOTU 828MKII's are good. I've noticed there is now a MOTU traveller which is not that much more expensive.

Can you please tell me the practical differences. Appart from the traveller doing max 192k instead of 96k.

Hi. I have a sound interface for my PC that only has one MIDI input, like most of the ones I've seen on the market. Basically what i want to do is have two external MIDI controllers(one for keys, the other for knobs) control an audio application on my PC. How do I solve this problem?

Last year, just as I was narrowing the gear list down of what to finally buy, I decided I'd wait a while and see what other systems/solutions developed.
