Can anyone tell me if the Korg Triton Le is worth buying or not, and what makes you think that it is or isn't.

I know this board is fairly new so I would'nt expect too many replies on it. But I'd like to comment on their use of a 12AU7 tube as part of the audio/effects circuitry and the 120 note polyphony they've upgraded this thing to. I currently own a Triton rack so I can imagine how it may sound. Maybe the whole Triton thing has played out and this is their way of keeping a good thing going.

Which of these two keyboards (or sound modules)would you buy, and why? Please be as detailed as possible. I'm hearing from many that the Motif would demolish the Triton, but no one ever gives me the reason why.

I am looking for a workstation, and am considering purchasing one of the KORG Triton line. I am especially interested in good piano/strings sounds, although also looking for variety, much flexibility, good sound quality. Thoughts on the Triton (and particular models--e.g. LE, Studio), or equivalents at lesser price?

I own the Triton Rack module and was wondering if any of the current cards they have (for expansion) are worth investing in. My genre of music includes R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, some Gospel, & a little Rock. I really dislike making a purchase to only find out that the sounds are crap.

When recording keyboards, which is better to getting a great signal a mic preamp or a A/D converter . If anyone has a particular set-up that works great please elaborate

My equipment set up as of now is an ASR-X, EMU PLanet Phatt, Yamaha PSR420, wit SONAR seq.

and i'm primarily a Hip Hop, RnB, and Pop(all music genres cross that line)

from my visits at samash they told me Karma is better for less musically inclined people or people who don't know how to play the piano read notes etc(thats me)
