Hi, I'm currently look at buying a Soundcraft 2400 it seems to be well looked after but i need advice on whether i'm throwing my money away. The desk is £2.000 or a Mackie D8B with all the gear @ £2.500

Just got a Mackie HUI (I know it's old but was a great price) Love the layout meter bridge etc.
Regarding the midi connections:
If say I am using software synths / samplers via midi key controller to pc where does the HUI connect midi in / out on the pc ?

hello I just bought a used Mackie SR32-4 mixer and I don't know anything about it, well most anything, but I was wondering if anybody knew were I could get some instructions I don't have a manual and before this I was useing a BEHRINGER 1204 FX mixer I would appreciate somebodys help thanks

Hi. Im thinking to buy Mackie d8b from USA. Reason is simple. Even with shiping cost and taxes its 3 times cheaper.
I just wanna know will electrician or someone be able to make it work on 220V?

I noticed Mackie has a $200 rebate on a pair of these monitors.
Looks like the 824's are selling for around $1200 before rebate.

Anybody have opinions on either the 624's or 824's and how they stack up to other brands in that $1000 price range?

I'm looking at 2 boards for recording right now. Both are used and about the same dough.

1-Mackie Onyx, 8XLR's, 4 EQ's by Perkins, 2 sweeping, individual phantom power. Does firewire.

HI, i have a question. Im trying to hook up a Mackie control with nuendo and i've done everything the manual says, and i still couldn t make it work. Im using a Digi 002, and Mackie control works fine with Pro Tools. Did anyone had the same problem? Is there anything I'm missing?

i started working out of my buddies studio and he has a Mackie CFX16 MKII 4 Bus Mixer 16 Channels and use Cake Walk Sonar for recording, and i am a Pro Tools guy, i was wondering how i would be able to hook up my digi 002 to his Mackie without interrupting his wiring and having to re-wire every time i use the studio ?

Got it. I do have to say they packed it very well. The first two faders are very loose. All the rest are fine. Im going to let it warm up and then Im going to tear it apart and clean it and see whats going on with the first two faders. Hopefully an easy fix. The salesman/manager said the unit powered up and all the faders reset, so I hope they are just loose.
