Should I get my CD mastered?

I know mastering really does make a difference but I'm on a budget and I think my mixes sound pretty good. But...if it really would make it sound THAT much better then I would want to get it done. But I want to know if it is worth it. Since I know everyone here is a pro at what they do and I trust your skills here is the link to a .wav of a solid mix from my album.

problem with reading indexes on mastered CD

I just finished mastering my first 10 dialogue CDs. They sound flat but LOUD just as requested by the customer. (yuck) Anyway, I give them the CDs burned with Toast at 2x on my MAC G4. Then all hell breaks loose, the CDs only read to the eighth track on the customer's little ghetto blasters. The rest of the entire recording continues after, but on the same index.

finalizer + sending mastered Cds to manufacturer

Hi, I have a huge workload, low budget project involving 53 CDs of dialogue. and "incidental' music for kids. I need to get it out quick and the budget isn't high so I am planning to buy a Tc electronics finalizer and do everything myself. I know DYI is not a great idea for music, but for this many discs and the nature of the material, volume and clairty are most important.

question on pre-mastered mixes

Hey everybody...Well here is my situation followed by my question. I have been doing mixes lately for much more professional artists than the run of the mill local kid garage bands I used to get. I produce mainly rock projects. Usually I used to just do the poor man's mastering cause the kids couldnt afford to pop down any more cash for a true mastering engineer.
