Gotta get rid of my hardware and mics=( story inside
So all of my gear, just about all of it anyway, belongs to my guitarist from my old band, my namesake, anyway he bought the Firepod to record the album, and then we used mostof his mic's and stands (i've acquired quite a few more than he brought so i can live without them) we did that and then its stayed at my house ever since.
Mics for acoustic guitar and vocals/harmonica?
Hello everyone,
2 different kick mics.
Is it a good idea to buy two different kick mics, to record two kick drums then sample the best one and replace sounds of the other one? I already have Electro-Voice ND 868 and I like it. So I am thinking of getting either a second one or an SM91 for example.

Nady Ribbon Mics
There are cheap as dirt? Worth the money for something a little different?
I am looking at the Nady RSM-2. its $200. I mean I really can not go wrong. But I also don't want to be left thinking that i could have gotten a pair of 57s with that cash. And we can all use more 57s.

Micing & recording grand piano
I have to run sound for a quintet. Violin, DoubleBass, Elec GTR, Acordeon(Bandoneon) and Acoustic Grand Piano.
We will be on tour in many locations around Europe and China, but first we must make some gigs at my country, Argentina.
The range of Pianos we use goes from Ronish 1/4 to Steinway 1/2.

Using Two Mics
I'm trying to use two microphones to record with at the same time for a podcast radio show. They're both usb mics, exactly the same, yet only one is picking up audio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
