I've been working on a new instrumental. Well, it's actually a re-work of a track I first attempted 20-odd years ago. Anyhow, what does everyone think? Have I nailed it?.. I'm trying to get the drums to sound 'decent'.. Might have over embellished in a few places..

At usual, I'm mixing on my trusty DT-990 pro headphones.

Hey All,

This is my latest composition that I recorded over the last week. As usual, I mixed it on headphones.

In contrast to some of my earlier recordings, I though I'd try out a different drum kit (courtesy of EZDrummer) and tried to sharpen my programming skills. I quite like the sounds -- seems quite 'live' but would be interested to hear what other people think.

new song I'm working on.  would love some feedback.  I like the song but I'm a bit stuck on production.

Chorus acapella with piano

Been working on this for awhile now played everything but drums and sing. Mix feels pretty decent appreciate any critique.

New one upbeat hard rock. I used Apollo Twin X for all tracks (except drums) and mostly UAD plugins with SM57 and a AT4047s. Mixed in logic X.

Hi everyone,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here — I’ve been working on some new stuff. Borrowed a friend’s 7-string, and additionally used my tele and a semi acoustic. Drums were programmed in EZDrummer, bass programmed in EZBass and strings using Logic’s studio strings.
