I'm looking for some vintage Neve modules preamps and my question is:
Everybody knows about the high quality of the Brent Averill modules. But this new company (Vintech Audio) promises the same as Brent Averill with a really low price... ($1289 vs. $1859 for Brent).
Do you think that it's possible for two channels of original Neve 1272 to cost $1289?

I just wanted to start a thread to learn a little about Neve consoles and some of these famous modules I've heard about (ie the 1081's, 1066's, 1081R's). Anybody work in a shop with a 88R or a Libra? I'm just looking to learn, so whatever you know will help! Thanks gang!

OK, so I've been lurking everywhere the last few months and have read basically you want Neve, API, Trident or their modern equivelents for Mic preamps and EQ modules in order to get the most from your mics for tracking.

Does anyone know anything about this little board?
It's touted as being a 12:2:1 console. (The 1 seems a little odd.)
Specifically, do the channel inputs each have their own out as well?

In terms of sound, what are the major differences between Trident B series, Neve 1073 and Neve 1081 preamps?

Also, I think that 1081 doesn't have phantom power, am I right? What's the solution to this?
