I just bought a MOTU 896 HD and am having problems with main outs. I get signal on the mic preamp meter but for some strange reason I get nothing on the left and right outs. When I play back recorded material from Digital Performer I get signal on the left and right out but no sound comes out of my monitors nor headphones. Anyone had this problem so I dont have to call MOTU . Thanks

Hi all !

For some reason I can dump 24 tracks no problem,Im using Nuendo V2
to record and play, when I play all tracks Im getting this wave (out of synch) effect . I have 2 separate hard drive one for the OS one for the Data, Plenty of space. I have 3 MOTU 2408 mrkII going to a MOTU pci-324 card which is set to be the word clock. Why is this happening durring playback?

Dear All,
I am new to DAW and started a system based on a Echo Mona 24/96 with a PIII750, 384MB at FSB 100, and a HD with 7200rpm. A Sound Blaster 16 is used as out. OS is Win XP.
When I record more tracks than two with Nuendo 2.0 I experince clicks, sliding (delays between) of the tracks, and error messeage 'Out of sync' after a minute. Recording at 44.1kHz, 16bits.

hey, thanks for reading.
iv'e had my dbx 386 for some time now and i am still having trouble getting it to sing to my e-mu 1818 interface. there is no input in my S/PDIF dsp channel. Cubase clock source is set to S/PDIF but sample rate changes from the dbx don't affect the rate in cubase.
any ideas on what i might be doing wrong? what is dither and could this be a factor?

Has anyone had a problem with their LCD Display? I just bought a PMIO and everything works great - except that nothing comes up on the display. There's just the backlight and no text.

I've contacted M-Audio - and all of the possible fixes they recommended required being able to actually use (and see) the LCD Display.
