Hello!

When recording bass, either bassguitar, or upright bass, or kick drum I can't seem to get a real punch. I use an AKG D112 either at a distance or upclose to the source and it still does not make much of a difference. Often I need to cut a couple clicks off a freq around 120hz to 100 range, and it clears it up a little, but then I loose a lot of the sound.

Hi... New to the forum and somewhat new to digital audio recording., I'm looking for help with an M-Audio Delta 44 card.

I want to hook up 2 pairs of speakers to the analog outs on the Delta 44 (pair of studio monitors & set of home stereo speakers), but for some reason I only get sound on the first two outputs WAVout 1/2, and no sound at all on 3/4.

I've been having many problems with the two since I bought them about a week ago. I've solved many of them but there is still this one that I cant fix. This is what happens, I'll record my drums in Cubase SX...then I'll try to edit it or add eqs and effects to it.

When I master to get a good level, the levels do rise around -0.3, but the sound gets harsh, the music gets forceful, even when volume is low. Especially when using (Me loudmaximiser). Is there any way to keep the smoothness of the music, when raising the volume level up on your final mix, or should i turn things down in the mix, so when I do master, it automatically comes out.

This is my issue, I have in my home office a KORG d1600 that contains the drum tracks for an album my band is working on. I wish to transfer these files to my version of ACID Pro 5.0 so that I can add VST effects as well as visually mix the sound without having to use a stylus on a monocrome mini-screen.
