Dear experts,
I have anoying problem with my FA-101 FireWire box and IBM X31 Laptop PC. First 15-30 minutes everything works smoothly but after awhile pops, clicks and silent periods start occure. As the time goes on the situation gets worse, ending up to dead audio interface = no sound in nor out. Complete boot for the IBM is only medicine I have figured out so far.
After bouncing a file out of PT I tried playing it back through WinAmp, iTunes and Encore. Through any source besides Pro Tools, the sounds is played back fast. I've tried different sample rats and formats, but after it's bounced, it always plays back fast.
Any suggestions?

I just returned the PowerCore firewire to my dealer. My computer is setup correctly and had all the necessary horsepower to run the plugins. And I installed an Adaptec Firewire card to be used only for this unit.
I had the following problems with the unit.
So a few weeks ago, i was recording a band...and i had Digital Performer set to record at 48K and get its clock from the AES EBU input...
but the AES EBU device sending the clock was accidentally set to 44.1
so the resulting files were labeled as 48K in their meta data...but were actually recorded at 44.1

I have an Audigy2 soundcard in my PC which is running XP on which I am trying to record using Cubase SX and Adobe Audition. I have a Behringer Eurorack UB1202 mixer and my problem is that although I can hear the headphones attached to the mixer and the pc speakers are audible when I play Cubase with a midi track in I can only hear the incoming tack and not the tracks on Cubase.
Ive got a preamplifier witha kind off mono mic input. I intend to use it with my mic which uses XLR out connectors. There are 3 output wires on my mic and 2 input wires on the preamp. How can i go about it and creat a balanced signal.
I just got a Behringer eurorack UB2442FX. It's an awesome board so far. But, there is a problem, but its a somewhat big/annoying problem. When I record straight into my sound card from my audio board I get this buzz sound. But it's not my audio card because I tried it with another audio board so it's not the card.

When I opened my studio about 8 months ago, I noticed a very small problem - or so I thought.
When recording an acoustic guitar using a pickup, direct into the desk in the control room, you heard a repeating, high-pitched, chirping noise.
My question involves metering on multiple digital sources on my Central Station.
