I got a hold of some mics and recording equipment today, and sadly the connection I thought might work for me, won't. For these mics, I'll need something to convert from the mic cable size to 1/4" (patch cable size), or even headphone size (1/8"). The only thing I have access to that can do that is the actual mixing board, which I'm not at liberty to use.
Hello, I have been searching high and low for a fix to my problem, I JUST bought this mobilepre preamp, and am now struggling to get it to even detect in windows XP, I try to open the control panel and it doesnt work at all, it says it cant find the device I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, restarted the computer and all tha jazz.

I recently borrowed a B&K 4007 for acoustic measurement of my room. I discovered that it had the odd problem of randomly cutting the volume by about 4 dB. The cut would last for a second or two, then the volume would return to normal. Any ideas on what could cause this?
Hey all, I'm new here. can anyone suggest a fix to this problem? When I plugin my delta 1010 all I get is feedback and the power light doesn't come on. This has happened several times in the past but disconnecting the cable and trying again would work. Now all I get is feedback on all the input channels. I was thinking maybe I have a bad cable, hopefully its not f**ked.

I can't see the level going up and down when I sing, does anyone know what I'm doing? I hear my voice in teh speakers and it lets me record but my voice doesn't get into the track...what the hell?
Okay, different scenario here. Do any of you find that rather decent orchestras or ensembles wind up playing where they can and one of the large determining factors of that is the almighty dollar?
