I know someone who has some audio, that can't be redone, and there's bad humming throughout it. I dunno what he used to record it, but is there some things he can do to fix this? Thanks
And also, is there ways to fix this if he already tried running filters through it?
My Inspiron has one iLink port and I've added a 3-port firewire pcmcia card. Unfortunately, the iLink port was damaged and the connection can be lost if the cable is nudged.
Hey everyone, this is my first post here and it's a newbie question... I've got PreSonus Firebox firewire interface and it came with Cubase LE. I've added an audio track to the project and I'm recording my guitar through the mic, however, it also records the metronome!
I recently purchased the EMU Proteus X which came with the 0404
card...sounds great and everything...but audio cuts off (stops) when
doing various things like typing in another application...I first
noticed it when moving objects around the page in image editing and
layout software (Photoshop and InDesign...I am a graphic designer)...
I'm using Audition 1.0 on an Athlon with an Echo Audio GINA 24 card. I've got an old Mackie CR-1604 with the first eight tracks going to an ADAT LX-20 (as a front end and meter bridge) then light pipe to the card. I'm recording the eight tracks into Audition with each tarck going to the left or right of four devices.
got my new daw built and hardware installed. there seems to be a delay in what i am inputing and what is being monitored. Does any body know how to setup a MOTU 24I/O so I can use two of the outputs as my master outs to send a left and a right to my power amp and event 20/20v2's. Does anybody know why there is the delay or how to fix it. all help and advice would be appreciated.

Yeah it's me and that means problems.
I don't know if it's me or what it seems like my Emu 1212m running Cubase vst 4.0, all together we're having problems.
Every single day i turn on my pc ready to lay down some ideas to sounds Cubase don't seems to work or around Emu don't want to work.
i installed the audiophile 2496 to my pc, and it works great with my two 5' samson rubicon monitors. But, after i installed the audiophile soundcard, for some reason, when i plug my headphones to my pc, which is (my Stock Audio Card) i dont hear nothing... i cant even choose my stock (old) soundcard's drivers on Reason's Audio Preferences Drivers.. i only see the audiophile drivers.
