Hey everyone, I just stumbled upon this place while I was looking for answers that I unfortunately haven't found yet. Here's my problem: I have a MobilePre USB preamp and I am trying to record into Cool Edit Pro 2.0, but when I record in, it only gives me the left channel.

Hi everyone, I have just replaced my PC with a new 3GHz P4 loaded up. I removed my 324 card and re installed it in the new PC. The system worked great in my old PC. In the new one however, when I record anything via the analog ins, the playback quality is very distorted. Almost like you're running your master through a marshall gained full up!

channel 5 and 6 are flipped its a hard thing for me to understand as well so i will explain it like this.

Plug mic into input 5 shows on channel 6.

Hello. I own an M-Box with Pro Tools LE 6.7. Im trying to record my guitar but ive encountered a problem with my distortion. Im using a Boss Metal Zone by the way. Anyways when i record, my distortion sounds like crap. I mic my cab 2 inches away with a Shure RS130 Dynamic. Is their any suggestions that you can give me that will help me get a better tone for my recordings?

I recorded my band on my pc using Adobe Audition
and after some practice I managed to make it sound absolutly amazing ! but when I try recording the voice part, it sounds... bad.

When i try to use the MOTU 828 mk2 on my powerbook i get the following problems :

With Logic 7 Pro, there is no sound at all, and the CoreAudio is configured for the 828 mk2, everything seems to be right, the sound just won't come out :P

I have a six piece set of pearls session custom series drums. I just installed a new set of Aquarian response 2 coated heads and they sound great, although I am pleased with the tone and response of these heads I dont like the fact that these drums project such a great amount of sustain.

Im sure all of you are gonna eat this up! but i know a lot of you have quams about Behringer products as do i . A few days ago i was playing drums and monitoring through my mx-9000 when all of a sudden all i could hear was noise. I notice on my board that the main solo light had come on by itself. I could do absolutly nothing to turn this light off and cut the noise.

I dont notice it until I put headphones in and using Adobe Audition to record through a mic in the XLR. If in headphones, I hear static like when I move windows around or click the mouse button I hear static sounds like its coming from that.

I am recording a demo with my band. Weve been recording to a Roland VS-890 (when we need to multi track simultaneously) then we are sending two tracks at a time out the digital out into an M-Audio Audiophile USB. Then the tracks record to Adobe Audition. Some tracks are coming over fine. But some tracks pitch is being altered as much as up a whole step.
