Hello. I just completed a small studio and I'm having a problem with static on all my circuits. The static comes from all my components on all circuits (bass amp, PA, stereo receiver etc). The circuits are coming off from a subpanel that I installed to feed my studio. The static actually goes away after a few minutes. Do I have a ground loop problem here or something else going on?

Anyway, I recently bought various items to build a (cheap) DAW. Here is my basic setup:

Audiophile 2496
Behringer UB1202
Alesis M1 Active Mk2 Monitors

...and a PC to hook it all up.

Ok so here it is, everytime i record vocals i have some "whommpmph" sounds behind, well i first thought it was the mic or the preamp, but i tried after with an u87 with an Avalon and the prob is still there, it may be my card ( M audio 18-14 ) or maybe an electricty prob ?

I have bought Pro Tools Mbox, and i have a problem.
Beforehand i had Creamware Luna board and i connected it with my Lexicon PCM80 via S/PDIF in-out, and it worked well!
The problem is that i can't send one signal via analog outputs, and the other via S/PDIF, so that i connect my Lexicon PCM80 with Mbox!

Hi, I produce beats for, and perform on Turntables in, a three piece band called Belleruche. We are just about to press our first seven inch (On a very low budget in the UK), and as a result of our singers Austrialian contacts we've had the first side mastered in Australia.

I just bought and installed the soundcard yesterday. When I install the hardware, and then the drivers it installs fine, for music playback. The pc doesn't detect the settings for recording. I've tried re-installing the drivers but I still get the same result, and I've even switched thePCI slots. In the properties in Volume Control, I click on Recording and there is just a blank entry box.

We just bought a 3rd Q10, and upon installation, suddenly began to have the following problem:

When the Aardvark Manager is opened, it works fine *until* we view the mixer for the 3rd card. Then, within minutes of having that screen visible, the program crashes, and also prevents us from reopening the program, or any other audio programs, until the PC is rebooted.
