Hey guys I'm wondering how to record bass using a passive DI box and a mic so that I can have 2 signals going into Pro Tools. I've never recorded with two signals before so I'm not real clear on how to hook everything up.

I'm using an Mbox with two inputs. So for one signal I go from the mic to the Mbox right?

i got a chance to buy a radial jdi for a good price and did some searches but they mostly relate to guitars and not bass. i would use it just for bass and I'm using a $50 rapco passive di for bass now.it does the job but I'm thinking i would notice a difference with the jensen transformer in the jdi. think i would?

Hi - I've never been able to get a straight anwser out of anyone regarding which type of DI is best suited to which situation. I'm shopping around for one right now and here's what i need it to do:

it's for studio use, for bass DI and also reamping some stuff
