2 Chan. Dig. In PCI card suggestions
Don't care about any A/D section (got a HEDD 192 for that). I'm looking for a 2 chan. high sample rate (88.2, 96k) PCI card (preferably AES in) as an alternative to a MOTU 1296 ($1500 will get you what I am describing plus 12 chans. of some pretty good A to D, but I'm looking for less expensive options). I use a MOTU 2408 & 308 for multi-channel inputs to my Mac.

Sound Card PCI for win2000 advice needed!
Hi, Well i'm on a budget of 200 or less (the boss would prefer less). Using Sound Forge software. Mostly analog voice recording so 2 tracks would be my max. Input if from a Mackie 1604 mixer. Any suggestions? Besides getting a more realistic buget. :-)
thanks in advance!

8 channel AES/EBU PCI card. Anybody making this?
I swear up and down that SEKD was making a 8 channel in, 8 channel out
AES/EBU card (I thought I saw something in EM or Mix recently), but I
cannot find it from any manufacturer. 2 AES i/o channel is common,
but with the need for 24 channels of simultaneous inputs on three PCI
slots, it's obviously impractical. Anybody know if there is a card

MOTU 2408/PCI-324, Sonar, Win 98se
Anyone out there using this? I'm wondering what kind of latency you're getting? I think the PCI-324 is a great, versatile card, but the none of the drivers are achieving useable latency under Win 98se (70ms). And, I'm not changing OS.

UA Powered Plugs/DSP-PCI Card
Okey Dokey Boys and Girls.
Let's get ready to rejoice, and dance in the sunshine..who has ordered theirs, and/or actually got their grubby little hands on this mythical card. All of the net dealers are taking orders, but no delivery info seems to be available. I trotted over to Universals web-site just to read the spec's again, and it said :
