Hi there,I am a bit confused as to which type plugins can be used with PARIS ...I have 2.5 software,with ADAT card and 24-bit in mod..I have some VST stuff that works OK,but wonder about other types.

Which pluginswould give my mic a warmer sound for vocals?

Universal Audio has posted new drivers for the UAD-1 card. Version 2.0 (actually 2.01) of the drivers (dated March 2, 2002) are now available. (Nigel guitar amp sI'm nor the Pultec EQ are released yet, but promised soon)

I am going to open up what I hope will be a can of worms. Anybody care to offer an opinion on how well various pluginssimulate their hardware counterparts? Any thoughts on pros and cons of pluginsvs. hardware?

Plug-in order is a topic that should be considered when mixing or mastering. There are general guidelines, then there are lots of rules to be broken!

Here is what I understand to be a generally accepted all-purpose plugin order:

1) Noise Gate
2) Compressor
3) EQ
4) Reverb/delay

Cool, what categoies are there?

Anyone successfully using the UAD-1 with LAW?

Question # 1: if BMW offered a new car that was twice faster than their flagshio 731i but ran on a new kinf od gas, we'd all be runiing out to buy it wouldn't we? Question # 2, I've spent three years upgrading my software versions, buying new plugin , building a quite impressive preset lib. etc...
