Simple mixing question about pop-punk music

Hey I just finished recording a pop-punk song. I am pretty new to all this recording stuff. So what would be the best way to go about mixing it (example: lead guitar 10% to left...etc) I would like it to have roughly some what of the same kind of mix as Blink-182. I am using bass, drums, rythm guitar track, lead guitar track, vocal track,and an organ track for the bridge.

I strongly suspect that one of the many reasons behind Kurt Cobain's suicide was that he realized that despite his sincere attempts at keeping it real, this stuff would never die. And in his case, instead of spurring more individuality, he and his bandmates helped create more alternateen zombies.

String Quartet in Pop Music

Hallo,

next week I will track a string quartet for a pop recording. So far I'm planning to use a Schoeps ORTF System for the overall ensemble sound and some room information as well as close Micing each player individually with a Schoeps cardiotic mic.
