Any recommendation of budget (slightly quality) Tube Preamp / Preamp for Vocal and Instruments?

The Alta Moda AM-30 is a fully discrete, class A transformer-less design unlike any other preamp on the market. Clean at lower settings, the AM-30 can be pushed and smoothly over-driven where other preamps would harshly clip. I'm a DJ, well more like mp3J, and recently I tried using the USB out on my laptop to send the signal instead of the 1/8" soundblaster headphone jack.

I read the BEHRINGER SRC 2496 is surprisingly a good unit for AD conversion even if it's Behringer and at a low price.

I doubt it is as good as a Lavry AD converter but how about compared to a used Lucid 2496 AD converter ?

For start, I don't like Behringer , but at that price.. It makes you wonder... ;)

This is not part of a mic shootout. Just a few dry clean samples for reference on the internet.

This grouping has mostly samples of the Cathedral Pipes Regensburg Dom, Neumann tlm102 mics, and the lindell audio 6x-500, Vintech 573, bla b12a, and electro harmonics 12ay7 tube pre (w/now rca tubes) preamps.

There's no compression/plugs/normalizing on any of the tracks.
