Professional Sound

Hey guys. I have recorded many tracks over the past few years, and with each recording it seems the quality gets a little better. However, I am still not happy with the final product I'm getting. If anyone would be interested in helping me out by picking apart what I may be doing wrong (or am not doing at all), that would be great!

Need some professional ears to give a "Final Master" a listen.

I've been fighting for weeks to re-track this song with my band but they don't hear an issue... So I decided to post a 30 second clip of the track (uncompressed .wav straight from the mastering studio) It's 13mb in size.

I won't give away what I think is wrong with it to get the most unbiased opinion on this clip as possible.

Professionalism - what is it?

So, I'm in the middle of a job from hell, FOH at a local college campus, in a musical theatre setting, so I've got the band and stage and lead singers to worry about, but I've also got all of the soundcues (fx and suchlike) that I'm having to sync up with the show, and it's been a bloody nightmare - not because of anything that's going on there, but because of the kids I'm working with.
