Hey Ro'ers, I have a quick question for anyone who uses Reason and knows the program well. What does it mean when the pattern bank lights up with a green square around it? I have never seen it do this before but I assume that it is something that I can use as far as programming longer patterns. If anyone knows what I am talking about please give me some insight. Thanks.

hi guys its been a long time i did'nt catch the forum..was a bit busy...guys i m using pro tools now...i watched the demo clips read it in the manual that after you open pro tools you can load reasons adapted or Ableton but when i open reasons adapted it gives me midi input device error...that its in use by another application...in short my digi 002 rack is only playing one software at a time..

I'm running reason into Pro Tools via rewire and record all my midi tracks that way. After I've recorded the notes I want to go back in and ad automation on a filter in reason. I've tried automating it in reason, but I can't think of anything that will work. Can I go back in and automate an effect in reason after I've recorded the midi track into Pro Tools?

i wanna use reason with a sequencer, so i can record my guitars in the sequencer and use it with reason.

anyone do this?

hello all, when i got my digi002 i received a free reson CD in the pack which is kind of cool, BUT i dont think its the full version. (does anyone know if it is?)

Anyway I'm looking for a drum sampler/loop program to use with Pro Tools and whilst looking thought this search i found that people are using reason and i tried it and its pretty cool.

I recently got Reason Adapted with Pro Tools 002R. It is not simple to use on first (and second and third) observation. So why don't they provide a manual? I paid money in good faith that they would. Maybe it is just a scam so I now have to upgrade for $200 more in order to get the manual. But maybe I am being needlessly negative :( .

My son has a Pro Tools LE setup with Reason Adapted installed. We are buy the full version of Reason 2.5 tomorrow (I know 3.0 is out soon, but this was only $199 at Guitar Center).

I'm tryin to slave reason, but when i slave it, i dont hear the notes being played, unless i record them and then press play, how do u get the midi to play out?
