Question about recording my band
This Saturday my band is playing live for a concert. There is 1 drummer (electronic kit), 1 bass, 1 electric guitar, 1 keyboard and 2 vocalists. I'd like to record a multitrack performance but I'm unsure how to properly do that.

Recording a live band
Is there a consensus or short list on the best microphones for Micing amp cabinets during a live recording session in a noisy venue ? Also, the same for vocals ? Consider these will not be in the PA. They will be sent via snake straight to my recording interface and captured on computer HD.

Seeking advice for pub band recording
Hi everyone! :D I just joined, so please be gentle with me.
I am seeking advice on recording a rock band at a pub venue. It will be done with their buy-in, however as a live gig in a pub court yard, I can't be too invasive. I am going to record both audio and multi cam video.

Live Recording of Blues Band
Hi all!
I always enjoy reading how people approached recording situations, so I thought I would share my latest here. I don't post much, but I read every day and appreciate all the good ideas and advice I have seen here on the forum over the years.

Recording a bagpipe band
I am a new member to this forum. Thank you for being here. :)
I am a member of a bagpipe band near Philadelphia PA. I have played the pipes for 40+ years. We are working on a CD. I read a post about a single piper trying to record music. You were all so helpful I figured I might try. I will gladly include your credits in the final product if you like.

Recording a band "live" using 8 tracks or less...
Hi folks,
I'm an audio geek in my 40s. I have a bit of training and experience with recording bands, but I'm coming back to recording after a long hiatus.

Recording - Personal Projects /Your Band/Clients
I was just wondering what the other members do around here with their studios. Do you record your own projects and play all your instruments (this could include borrowing a friend), record for your band, or record professionally for clients. I thought this might be and interesting thread.
Thanks

Band Recording
Hello! This is my first post on this forum, or any music recording forum for that matter, and I was wondering what would a good price be to charge for bands to record their music in a studio and for me to mix it? I am very interested in sound and music engineering/producing and I think that this could be a good start. Thank you!
