My genre is Rap/Crunk/Freestyle/R&B something like that. Some newschool stuff.
Currently using Adobe Audition 2.0 but thinking of Moving to Cubase SX because of better routing options. And because Audition is a CPU/RAM hog.

In a mix when setting up reverbs, are plate reverbs typically used as say an ambience reverb or as more of a spatial reverb to highlight specific tracks like the vocals or lead instruments?

I recently bought a BX20E AKG spring reverb but the remote is not working. I have to sold the 5 pin plug connector. Can anyone help me understanding what the 5 pin stands for or how to find a diagram that explains it.

Hello everyone. In the coming months I'm going to have some money to buy some new toys. I'm thinking of perhaps possibly maybe ( :) ) getting some good reverb going.

How do I create reverb environments?

I've been slowing upgrading my project studio for the past 10 years or so. Because I record my own solo material, I decided to spend my money on studio pieces that I can use for as long as I live. So, I'm buying higher end rack stuff to round out my Pro-Tools LE system.

Now'm ready to add to my recording rig. Here's a rundown of what I have.

hello, i have a stereo recording from a 8mm cam, and have lots of the room reverb.

how can i remove some or all the reverb from a stereo track.

its a rock band recording. ( drums, bass, guitar, keys and vocals)

When you are mixing your tracks and adding reverb, do you use the same type reverb for all the instruments and voice ?
Or can you use like plate reverb for say one instrument and spring for say vocals.
