I've been in and out of the computer recording world for 8 years now, and I have no problems with my desktop systems, since I build them myself.

Now I have to build a mobile DAW for my church...and I'm sort of lost because I don't know anything about laptops.

I'm using Cubase sx 3 and I can record multitrack project easily, but when I want to listen to those tracks the sound stopped and the Host light is red!

Let me here everyones opinion on the fireface. One question i have is, do they have fans that are loud?

Through a mac with Digital performer. Anybody have this setup? Do they play well together? Any problems?

How many microphones can I hook up to a Fireface 800 at a time I have 10 Channels of preamp and there is 4 on the Fireface, anyone know oh and without a digital mixer

I got my Fireface up and running with Cubase SX3 on my laptop (Vaio) with no problems.

I recorded a concert last night with no problems and it sounds great!

Hi guys ive just got my computer (PC) to recognise my ff800 but I'm getting no sound out of it. Could someone please offer me their settings for their ff800 as in windows sound settings and total mix inputs and outputs and so on.

This is my first time away From PT and its sh*tloads harder to setup PLEASE HELP.
