I'm getting really excited about Windows in general. Its the competition between Apple and Microsoft that is most exciting. But, I'm waiting a while before I put this into my audio PC's.

Its reported working well on Samplitude.

I read it won't allow you to turn off auto updates. Maybe they want everyone to be updating any bugs.

But, only by way of a simple relative comparison: in your opinion, what is the DAW that resembles the Samplitude in terms of GUI, features and workflow?

The VCA fader allows you to control all relevant levels when mixing your project. Each existing channel strip can be easily turned into a VCA fader. You can also assign individual channels to a VCA group and control them using the VCA fader in the mixer.

How Good or Great is Samplitude Pro X on the latest Mac running OSX 10.10?
I have a late 2012 Mac mini, late 2011 IMac & Macbook Pro.

I am considering purchasing both Windows operating & Samplitude Pro X for my Mac's. running boot camp..

I thought I'd start a "companion" thread to the other Samplitude thread, where Sam users cn share tips and tricks for the platform. As with any DAW prog, there are various little things that are helpful to know.
