Pro Tools to SoundForge - HELP
Hey, I'm a Pro Tools user and I'm being forced into a sound forge system. anyone able to help me? I need to take out some pops and breathing sounds in the audio, but I don't know how to chain my plugins or use them in real time, or even crossfade on this thing. NO MIXER WINDOW!
If anyone can give me a hand, i'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Problem recording with Sound Forge
I have been using Sound Forge for some years. I have tapes and otherwise analog recordings of audio I record onto my computer as WAV files by plugging the tape player (or otherwise) into the computer's line in jack.

Using Waves L2 to Dither in Sound Forge
Hope this is the right forum...
I am trying to use my Waves L2 plug to dither in Sound Forge. After I render the file, it still shows as a 24 bit wave. If I dither thru Sound Forge, it will then show 16 bit. Will Sound Forge allow you to use a plugin for dithering instead of theirs?
Thanks

Menacing CLICK during guitar recording in SoundForge7
Ok here's the deal. Everytime I record guitar into soundforge 7, I get a clicking noise. I just recorded some vocals and everything was fine, no click. I am Micing my amp with a Shure sm57, which does not touch the grill. I have tried different patch cables, made sure there is no clipping what so ever, and also tried a different mic, the EV ND257B.
Please help..Sound forge 5 How do i insert track points?
Hi, Ive been recording dj sets from my decks through an M-audio sound card into sound forge. Normalising, mastering, saving as 44, 16-bit, stereo and burning to CD. However i want to have an individual track number for each track in the mix. I cant seem to be able to insert track points on the file in SF 5. It burns as a single track 65 minutes lond. Can anyone help me with this please?
Is it possible to back up your presets in Sound Forge?
I've tried saving the application settings once before a reformat and reinstalled. I then pasted the entire folder over a fresh installs app settings folder and it didnt work. This was 6.0 btw...
I sent a suggestion via Sony's site for 8.0. Hopefully the SF dev team reads their email.
