36 tracks in LE?
Hi, last night i was on the DUC, and some guy wrote something about a glitch he discovered in LE. He claims to have been able to play and record 36 tracks. He did not post how, but asked others if he *should* post the knowledge. The overwhelming response was "yes," but this morning (it's actually noon) the post wasn't there. Has anyone heard anything about a glitch?

8+ tracks at once
OK Opus, I think I found the forum that you told me about from the Tascam site.
Just to refresh your memory I was asking about products that could record 8 or more tracks into Cubase at the same time.

16 Tracks of 24/96
Hiya.
I was wondering if anyone ot there has had any success at recording 16 channels of 24/96 at once? if so what were you using?
i'm hoping that for this a minimum system would be a couple of ATA100 drives (7200), but can anyone confirm this?
Cheers

Dithered tracks at mixdown?
Hi everybody,
If, while tracking, you dither down to 16 bit from an external converter to an MDM, or any digital multi for that matter, what are the cumulative affects of the dither at mixdown? Particularly UV22-HR.
Thanks,
Tim L

Monitoring MIDI tracks in DP
Hi chaps
First post and it has to be a dumb question...
I want to monitor my recorded MIDI tracks without having to arm an audio track and therefore end up recording unwanted audio when overdubbing a standard audio track.
I have a feeling i can do this with an AUX routing, but can anyone walk me through this? DP v2.72 w 2408MkII on G4 450

Recording basic tracks sans-drummer
I need to record some songs where the drummer may not be around to do the initial tracks. I was thinking that I would bring in the acoustic guitarist (songwriter) and record that with a click track minus the vocal, then add the drums, bass, vocals, etc. at a later date. I was wondering if I will lose some of the feel of the song this way and if this is not recommended.
thanks,
