Lauten Audio LA320 Tube Condenser
I've recently been hearing whispers of this in the wind from some fellow engineers - but no one I've talked with has actually had a chance to use it... has anyone here had a chance to use this mic?
Priced at $499 ( new), the LA320 is a cardioid tube condenser, featuring both HPF and LPF; it comes with an external power supply.
Thoughts?

Should I buy a tube condenser mic?
But I can't say that I 'need' it; I just want one. I only record vocals (my own) acoustic and electric guitars. Right now I go between a 4033 a Bluebird and a 58.
I'd like to keep it around $500 - $700 +/- so I've looked (new and used) a bit at things like the K2, KSM44, 4060, T3, etc.
Totally open for some suggestions.

LD Tube Condensers for OH...on a budget
I've always preferred recordings that have used LD Tube Condensers for drum overheads...whether it be U67's or C12's...expensive taste I know, it's a flaw.
I know it's always an outrageous thing to do in any aspect of life to say 'give me this mic's sound for $x.xx'.

Does anyone make Mid/Small Diaphragm Tube Condensers?
Just curious. I couldn't find anything in the archives.
I've found Groove Tubes makes a couple (GT33/GT44), but I can't really find any info on them on the 'net or anyone who's used them. They're reasonably priced at least.
